My chef life started after graduating from the Univ. of Pittsburgh with a marketing degree. Unsure or my future, I started doing clerical work for a startup company. One faithful weekend, I volunteered to help my boss cater one of his parties. The next Monday, he told me I should look into it as a career. His exact words were: "I see you in front of the computer and I saw you in the kitchen. What the hell are you doing?! This is your passion and you're really good at it!"
I enrolled in culinary school a few months later and found my calling! After paying my dues in restaurants, being a Food & Beverage Manager at a golf course for years, and being a personal chef for a few families, I started delivering home-cooked meals in 2020. I loved the feeling of answering the dreaded question of "what's for dinner" for busy families.
I started @chef.life.hacks in 2023 and gained quite a following showcasing kitchen hacks and approachable recipes. My goal is to make you feel more confident in the kitchen and not be deterred when mistakes are made. That's how we learn and grow!
